1. Who we are
Gallery Home: Photos is provided by Samp Technologies (“we”, “our” or “us”). If you have a privacy question, contact us at smeet7134@gmail.com.
2. Information handled by the app
Photos, videos and media information
With your permission, the app reads photos and videos available through Android MediaStore so it can display, organize, search, play, edit, create memories, group media and manage Android's trash. This may include file names, dates, dimensions, duration, album/folder information and location metadata already embedded in media when you grant media-location access.
Launcher and device information
To work as a Home app, the app reads the names, package identifiers and icons of launchable apps installed on your device and stores your Home-screen preferences locally. It may also read device status needed for features such as charging information, storage summaries, widgets and notifications.
Analytics and diagnostics
Firebase Analytics may collect app-instance identifiers, device and app information, approximate location inferred from network information, and events describing how app screens or features are used. We use this information to understand performance, improve features and measure acquisition.
Advertising, consent and attribution
The app includes Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region, consent choices and ad settings, these services may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostics to provide, measure and protect advertising.
The app also uses the Google Play Install Referrer API. It may read campaign parameters such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid or fbclid to determine whether an installation was attributed to a paid campaign. The app stores the resulting paid/organic eligibility state locally.
Remote configuration
The app contacts a secured configuration endpoint to retrieve advertising on/off settings and placement identifiers. Standard network information such as IP address and request metadata may be processed by the endpoint's hosting provider.
3. How information is used
- Provide launcher, gallery, photo/video, editing, widget, cleaner and charging-status features.
- Remember settings and organize content on your device.
- Measure feature usage, app stability and marketing attribution.
- Request and record advertising privacy choices and show ads where enabled.
- Detect fraud, abuse and technical problems and comply with applicable law.
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal photo or video library. Information may be processed by service providers only for the purposes described above, including:
- Google Firebase Analytics for app analytics. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
- Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform for advertising, consent and measurement. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Play Install Referrer for install attribution.
- Infrastructure providers that host the remote configuration endpoint or this privacy-policy page.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. Android permissions
The app may request access to photos and videos, media location, notifications, wallpaper controls and legacy storage on supported Android versions. It also uses network, vibration and Home-app capabilities. You can deny or revoke runtime permissions in Android Settings; features that depend on a denied permission may not work.
6. Retention and deletion
Home layout, preferences, cached thumbnails, gallery indexes and attribution eligibility are stored locally until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Android controls media trash and deletion confirmations. Third-party analytics and advertising providers retain information under their own policies and settings.
The app does not create a user account. To remove local app data, use Android Settings > Apps > Gallery Home: Photos > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the app. For a privacy request about information we control, email smeet7134@gmail.com.
7. Your choices
- Manage photo/video and notification permissions in Android Settings.
- Use the app's Privacy options entry, when available, to review advertising consent choices.
- Manage or reset your device's advertising controls through Google settings.
- Clear app storage or uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data.
8. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the app. No transmission or storage method is completely secure. Google and other providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable legal mechanisms and policies.
9. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and its intended Play Store audience is adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the issue.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app, service providers or legal requirements. We will publish the updated policy at this URL and change the effective date above.
